time and the mortals

Time. Time, it has been proposed, is the fourth dimension.
And yet, for mortal man, time has no dimension at all.
We are like horses with blinders,
seeing only what lies before us.
Forever guessing the future and fabricating the past.
-From the movie Kate and Leopold

books in philosophy

"Buku adalah mesin waktu Incognito, pintu Narnia, kantong Doraemon, Wonderland Alice, dan semua sihir Harry Potter"

The phrases above is my answer to "what does book means to you?".
I joined this quiz in case of Gramedia publisher birthday and I won that. yeay!

always in sync

hey.
how do you do?
life has been going pretty smoothly on my little utopia.
still the same excitement, and yet the same fellows.
They're the sunshine on a thundery day,
and tea whenever you need ease.
I love you guys,
that will be, always, and always to an eon.

xoxo,
adeline

ingo

hey ya.
My my, how I miss these things:
Sitting in front of my laptop, wonder a lot, and do blogging.
My life is plain as usual, nothing has popped out of my pandora recently.
Just, I'm dragging my life away.
If you know me well,
you know what thing I always declare I can't live without.
BOOK.
Yes, that supreme thing.
Well, nowadays I've been back to books.
Try to mingle between Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice,
and Anna Karenina (yes, guess what? I'm into classics),
but accidentally fall into Ingo.
Yes, Ingo has bewitched me with it's beauty somehow.
The children book series consisted of four novels:
Ingo, Tide Knot, Deep, and The Crossing of Ingo
written by Helen Dunmore is a very very amazing story.
Want to know more?
Simply go read it, just in addition I dare to say,
you'll be craving for a house by the beach, just like me.

adeline
